The children notice that building has begun

Christine’s comment: The very exciting process of building the new Lumsden Kindergarten began on the 13th January. The children noticed that there was a lot of activity at the house next door.
There were a lot of questions and speculations from the children about what may be happening over the fence so I pulled a bench up to the fence for the children to see what was happening.
After a lot of discussion we came to the conclusion that the builders were getting the house ready to be removed.
Jack Brittin concluded by saying “They are shifting the house. They are going to build a new Lumsden for the little ‘kids’. My brother Sam is little. He is going there.”
Ben Sutherland agreed saying “So is my brother Charlie. He might go there too.”
What an exciting time this is going to be for Lumsden. We can’t wait to watch the next development.
