Lumsden Kindergarten presents On the Couch. An opportunity to question a panel of experts about nutrition, good sleep habits, mindfulness, and general well-being for the whole family.

There’ll also be a number of support services present, so a great opportunity to meet people that assist families during pregnancy, birth, into family life and the early years.

Sally Cawston is a fully certified Sleep Consultant whose mission is to help infants and young children, together with their families, achieve better sleep and well-being in their daily lives. “A well-rested child is a happy child, and a happy child will thrive in their environment and make the most of opportunities ahead.”
Sally has consulted with the team at Little Lumsden on Sleep Hygiene and Healthy Sleep Habits with great results, and is looking forward to answering your questions On the Couch.
Judy Hunter is a Child Mental Health and Well-Being Specialist who originally trained as a Child Psychotherapist in Wellington. Judy currently works in a range of roles centered around child (and family) mental health and well-being, including the delivery of ‘Mindfulness for Kids’ to a number of Hawke’s Bay preschoolers, school-aged children, adolescents and teaching staff (including Lumsden Kindergarten in 2019).

Diane Stride has a BSc in Dietetics and a Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics from the University of Natal, South Africa. She is a New Zealand-registered dietitian and nutritionist. Diane specialises in all dietary issues, including food allergies and intolerances; women’s health; autoimmune diseases and other digestive disorders, and is looking forward to answering questions On the Couch.
